Resident Evil 6 announced with reveal trailer

Capcom today confirmed the development of Resident Evil 6 for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. RE6 will be the latest in the seminal horror franchise, which has sold over 46 million units worldwide and has branched off into a successful, if not critically well-received, film franchise. The game is being produced by Resident Evil 4 producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi, and is set for release November 20th. Players will assume the roles of returning characters Leon Kennedy and Chris Redfield as they attempt to contain bioterrorist threats in the United States and China.
